Margaret Scott Shehee is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, and is Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer of both family owned businesses, Kilpatrick Life Insurance Company and Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Crematorium and Cemeteries, Inc.  Ms. Shehee is a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana, 1985, and is married to David Newton Cole.

Ms. Shehee is a gubernatorial appointee to the Louisiana State Board of Embalmers and Funeral Directors, she serves as a member of the Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Inc. Louisiana.  She is a board member and past chairman of the Louisiana Insurers’ Conference, a board member and current secretary of the Louisiana Cultural Economy Foundation.

She is the current Chairman of the Shreveport Airport Authority, Vice Chairman of the Food Bank of NW Louisiana, and board member of the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra.  She has been a board member of several other civic and charitable organizations in recent years.
